A Passionate Journey Begins

The Gravely family’s love affair with Italian culture commenced during their first trip to Italy in 1983. While staying at the scenic San Pietro Hotel in Positano, they were enchanted by the vibrant, handcrafted dinnerware that adorned the tables at the hotel. The following day, they organized a visit to a nearby factory in Vietri sul Mare, where they observed skilled artisans as they hand-painted, glazed, and fired each ceramic piece. Inspired by this artistry, the Gravelys returned home with an assortment of nature-inspired mixed-pattern tableware, which later became known as Campagna—the flagship dinnerware collection of Vietri. Drawing inspiration from the striking colors of the Amalfi Coast, every Campagna dish is meticulously hand-painted by talented artisans.
