THE ARTISTRY
Lastra, derived from the Italian word for "slab," took inspiration from the circular wooden slabs traditionally used in cheese making. These slabs, bound with twine, left a design detail that is elegantly echoed in Lastra, from its foot all the way to its rim. A light dusting on the edges evokes the ash used in cheese preservation, accentuating each unique silhouette.
