Our story unfolds as a love affair—when Susan, Frances, and their mother, Lee Gravely, embarked on their maiden trip to Italy in 1983. During their stay at the stunning San Pietro Hotel in Positano, they were mesmerized by the colorful, handcrafted dinnerware showcased in the hotel's dining area. The following day, they sought out the artisans at a nearby factory in Vietri sul Mare. Observing these skilled craftsmen painting, glazing, and firing ceramic pieces by hand inspired them to share this Italian treasure with the world. Their journey back home introduced an array of unique pieces adorned with natural motifs, leading to the birth of Campagna, Vietri's flagship dinnerware line.
